R.M. Davis Announces New Hires and a Key Promotion

The firm is pleased to announce the internal promotion of Greg Cox1, and the external hire of Teddy Smith, CFP®, both as Assistant Vice Presidents and Associate Client Advisors. Greg joined R.M. Davis in 2021 as a Client Relationship Associate. Previously, Teddy was a Wealth Management Associate at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management. Associate Client Advisors play an integral role on the client services team, coordinating efforts between Client Advisors and Client Relationship Associates. They are also responsible for various aspects of investment advisory, portfolio and relationship management, and financial planning.  They collaborate closely with the company’s Wealth Management and Investment Research groups.

The following new hires were also announced:

John Leonard, CFP®, Vice President and Client Advisor, provides personalized financial planning counsel and portfolio management services to individuals, families, and institutions. He joined R.M. Davis in 2024 after serving more than six years in Portfolio Management as Vice President, Client Advisor at Spinnaker Trust in Portland.  Prior to that, John worked at JP Morgan Securities in Boston.

Andrew Livingston, Vice President and Client Advisor, holds CFA®, CFP®, and CAIA® designations. In his role as a Client Advisor, Andrew brings his depth of experience providing investment and financial planning services to individuals, families, and institutions. Prior to joining the firm, Andrew was a Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Camden National Bank. 

Jonathan Wojtkun, Vice President, Director of Technology and Information Security, leads the design and execution of all aspects of the firm’s technology, data management, and information security strategy.  He oversees the IT/Data Management team and technology partner relationships. Previously, Jonathan was a Senior Technology Consultant at Charles Schwab & Company.  

Eric Ruff, Vice President, Credit Research Analyst, brings over 20 years of experience as a corporate credit analyst, both on the buy-side and sell- side. Eric is a member of the Research Department and performs fundamental credit analysis, develops, and communicates investment recommendations, and monitors existing fixed-income holdings. Previously, Eric was the Director of Credit Research at MUFG Securities in New York.
